Battlefield 6, Day 1 Oct 10 2025
My rating 8.5
Day 1
Around noon CST I got up and looked on the internet to see if the game was launched in time, seems a huge queue was going on. I had pre downloaded a few days early and then on Oct 9 Xbox had a new patch for it. Upon logging in I saw a queue of like 3200 but was loaded in a few seconds later. I had no major bugs or performance issues at all, only thing was when browsing custom games a error message would pop up instead of the game info, not a big deal could be many reasons for it.
1. Small download, 43.1 gigabytes on Xbox Series S full phantom version.
2. Campaign is typical BF 3-4 style, you play different roles assault, engineer etc. with a story, Im four missions in, a fan of these type of small campaign's. A method of teaching you the game really.
3. Multiplayer, played Conquest and Assault, need to rank up characters for perks and weapons for more good stuff, typical. The environment blowing up is very sick and more realistic than past games, blow holes in walls or destroy entire buildings etc.. Solid even though I am not a very good player on BF Online yet, just continue playing matches to get xp and perform better,
4. Graphics are decent not super next gen or anything, I am running lower res textures but game does have higher res as optional download in game management. Playing on Series S is perfect.
Best thing so far? The destructive environment is very good to me, helps remove camping.
This is seems to be on par with BF4 overall, but is a bit better due to the environmental damage. A nice step up with some new game modes added, maps I played are decent sized, played about 5 matches so far and only assault class with no perks really.
Rating 1-10, BF6 rating 8.5 in my opinion BF4 rated 8.0 to me. Battlefield games are a side casual game I play every so often, this one does it better so maybe Ill play it more.
A GREAT NEW UPDATE TO BATTLEFIELD!
